고양특례시가 지역 복지 수준 향상과 민관 협력 강화를 위한 성과 공유의 장을 마련했다.

고양시는 지난 4일 고양인재교육원 가와지볍씨홀에서 '2025년 복지업무 우수 동 성과보고회'를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

2016년부터 매년 열리고 있는 이번 행사는 동 지역사회보장협의체와 복지 담당 공무원의 역량을 강화하고, 민관 협력 체계를 내실화하며, 지역 주민 맞춤형 복지사업을 발굴·확산하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 행사에는 고양시 44개 동 지역사회보장협의체 위원과 복지업무 담당자 등 약 150여 명이 참석해 올 한 해 동안 추진된 복지 성과를 공유하고 향후 협력 강화를 다짐했다.

성과보고회는 1차 정량평가를 거쳐 선정된 11개 동의 복지특화사업 우수사례 발표와 심사, 시상식 순으로 진행됐다. 

행사 중간에는 고양시 문화공연업체 '멜로드'팀의 재즈 공연이 펼쳐져 참석자들에게 문화적 여유와 교류의 시간을 선사했다.

4명의 외부 전문가로 구성된 심사위원단의 엄정한 심사 결과, 원신동이 최우수상을 수상했으며, 주교동·화정1동·대화동이 우수상, 고봉동·풍산동·식사동·일산1동·정발산동·장항1동·창릉동이 장려상을 받았다. 행신1동은 특별상 수상의 영예를 안았다.

심사위원장을 맡은 이만수 고양시 지역사회보장협의체 위원장은 "각 동이 1인 가구 고독사 예방 등 최근 복지 이슈에 대응하며 사회적 약자를 위한 특화사업을 적극 추진한 점이 돋보였다"며 "이번 보고회가 우수사례를 공유하고 지역복지 수준을 한 단계 높이는 계기가 되길 바란다"고 말했다.

이재복 사회복지국장은 "협력적 복지 체계를 지속 강화해 복지사각지대를 해소하고, 꼭 필요한 곳에 더 많은 지원이 이루어질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.

한편 고양시는 이번 성과보고회를 통해 공유된 우수사례를 시 전역으로 확산해 지역 복지의 질적 향상을 도모할 계획이다.

Goyang City announced that it held the "2025 Welfare Performance Report Meeting for Districts with Outstanding Welfare Work" at the Goyang Human Resources Education Center's Kawajibeopssi Hall on the 4th.

This annual event, held since 2016, aims to strengthen the capabilities of district community social security councils and welfare officials, solidify the public-private partnership system, and discover and expand customized welfare programs for local residents.

Approximately 150 people, including members of Goyang City's 44 district community social security councils and welfare officials, attended the event. They shared the welfare achievements of the year and pledged to strengthen cooperation in the future.

The performance report session consisted of presentations, judging, and an awards ceremony for the best practices in specialized welfare projects for 11 neighborhoods selected through an initial quantitative evaluation.

After a rigorous evaluation by a panel of four external experts, Wonsin-dong received the Grand Prize, while Jugyo-dong, Hwajeong 1-dong, and Daehwa-dong received Excellence Awards. Gobong-dong, Pungsan-dong, Siksa-dong, Ilsan 1-dong, Jeongbalsan-dong, Janghang 1-dong, and Changneung-dong received Encouragement Awards. Haengsin 1-dong was honored with a Special Award.

Lee Man-soo, chairman of the Goyang City Community Welfare Council and chair of the evaluation committee, said, "Each neighborhood stood out for its proactive approach to addressing recent welfare issues, such as preventing lonely deaths in single-person households, and for actively pursuing specialized projects for the socially vulnerable." He added, "I hope this report will serve as an opportunity to share best practices and elevate the level of local welfare."

Lee Jae-bok, Director of the Social Welfare Bureau, stated, "We will continue to strengthen our collaborative welfare system to address blind spots in welfare and do our utmost to ensure greater support is provided where it is most needed."
