고양특례시 덕양구 고양동은 지난 10월 14일부터 12월 2일까지 건강생활지원센터에서 총 8회에 걸쳐 운영한 주민 대상 건강 특화프로그램 ‘건강발전소’를 성공적으로 마쳤다고 밝혔다.

‘건강발전소’는 지난 상반기 운영 시 주민 만족도가 높아 하반기에 다시 운영된 프로그램이다. 

전문성을 강화하기 위해 덕양구보건소 치매안심센터와 건강생활지원센터, 방문보건팀, 고양동 종합복지회관이 함께 협업하여 기획 및 운영되었다.

이 프로그램은 인지 저하 어르신과 독거 어르신 등을 대상으로 진행되었다.

 상반기에는 대상자별 맞춤 운동과 영양교육을 제공했으며, 하반기에는 원예치유 교육과 한의약 건강증진 프로그램을 추가로 편성하여 더욱 다양한 건강관리 지원을 제공했다.

장재영 고양동장은 “대형 의료기관이 부재하고 교통 접근성이 취약한 고양동에서 지역 주민 가까이에서 제공하는 보건의료 서비스는 매우 중요하다”며 “앞으로도 어르신들의 자가 건강관리 능력 향상을 위해 찾아가는 보건의료 서비스를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 전했다.
