국내 최대 규모의 미래기술 융합 전시회 'RAD KOREA WEEK 2025'가 4일간의 열기를 뒤로하고 성황리에 막을 내렸다.

지난 5일부터 8일까지 고양특례시 킨텍스 제1전시장에서 열린 이번 행사에는 600여 개 기업·기관이 1,300여 개 부스를 운영했으며, 약 6만여 명의 관람객이 다녀가며 성황을 이뤘다.

이번 박람회는 로봇, 인공지능(AI), 드론, 도심항공모빌리티(UAM), 디지털미디어 등 미래 핵심산업을 한자리에서 선보인 점이 특징이다. 

총 4개 대형 전시가 동시 개최되며 산업 간 경계를 허문 융합 기술의 장을 마련했다.

행사는 ▲로보월드(산업통상자원부 주최) ▲드론·도심항공모빌리티 박람회(고양시 주최) ▲디지털미디어테크쇼(고양시·경기도 주최) ▲디지털퓨처쇼(경기도 주최) 등으로 구성됐다.

행사 기간 동안 다양한 기술 세미나와 비즈니스 상담회가 열렸으며, 국내외 산업 전문가와 기업들이 활발히 교류하며 첨단기술 산업의 새로운 협력 기회를 모색했다. 

시민 참여형 체험 프로그램도 함께 운영돼 첨단기술의 대중화 가능성을 보여줬다.

특히 고양시가 주최한 '2025드론·도심항공모빌리티 박람회'는 큰 관심을 받았다. 

포스코, SK텔레콤, LIG넥스원, 넥스트에어로스페이스, 인천국제공항공사, 한국교통안전공단, 카카오모빌리티 등 주요 기업과 공공기관이 참여해 도심항공(UAM), 자율비행, 국방 무인이동체 등 혁신 기술과 제품을 선보였다.

도심 과밀화 해소를 위한 차세대 교통수단으로 주목받는 항공모빌리티는 관람객들의 열띤 성원을 받으며 미래 모빌리티 산업의 가능성을 확인시켰다.

이어 "이번 RAD KOREA WEEK 2025를 계기로 고양이 미래 모빌리티 실증과 첨단산업 생태계 조성의 중심도시로 성장할 수 있도록 민간기업·대학·연구기관과 협력 체계를 강화하겠다"고 덧붙였다.

고양시는 이번 박람회를 계기로 'RAD KOREA WEEK'를 매년 정례화해 첨단기술 산업 융합의 거점 플랫폼으로 발전시킬 방침이다.

또한 킨텍스 인근에 도심항공모빌리티(UAM) 실증을 위한 전용 부지를 조성하고, 기업 협력 네트워크 강화와 시민 체험형 기술행사 확대 등을 통해 '대한민국 미래기술 수도 고양'으로의 도약을 지속 추진할 예정이다.
