(재)파주시청소년재단 금촌청소년문화의집(관장 나기숙)은 지난 18일부터 19일까지 몽골 청소년 32명과 파주시 관내 청소년 45명이 함께한 국제 교류 프로그램 ‘가을동화속으로’를 성공적으로 마무리했다.

이번 교류에는 동패중학교, 지산고등학교, 문산동중학교 등 파주 지역 학교 및 공유학교 청소년들이 참여했다. 

참가자들은 18일 오두산통일전망대와 헤이리도자기학교를 방문해 파주의 주요 명소를 탐방하고, 교하청소년문화의집이 주관한 청소년동아리연합회 행사에 함께하며 문화 교류의 시간을 가졌다.  

이어 19일에는 지난 11일 발대식을 가진 국제교류 서포터즈 ‘너, 나 그리고 우리’가 직접 기획한 한국문화 소개 프로그램 ‘한국문화데이’에 참여해 전통놀이, 한복 체험 등 다양한 한국 문화를 체험했다.  

파주시청소년재단 원희복 대표이사는 “한국 문화에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 지난해에 이어 올해도 몽골 청소년들이 파주를 방문하게 되어 매우 기쁘다”며 “이번 교류를 계기로 앞으로 더 많은 해외 청소년들이 파주를 찾아 파주시 청소년들과 우정을 나누길 기대한다”고 말했다.

The Paju Youth Foundation's Geumchon Youth Culture Center (Director Na Gi-suk) successfully concluded its international exchange program, "Into an Autumn Fairy Tale," from the 18th to the 19th, with 32 Mongolian youth and 45 youth from Paju.

This exchange brought together students from schools in the Paju area, including Dongpae Middle School, Jisan High School, and Munsandong Middle School, as well as shared learning centers.

On the 18th, participants visited the Odusan Unification Observatory and Heyri Ceramics School, exploring Paju's major attractions. They also participated in a youth club association event hosted by the Kyoha Youth Culture Center, engaging in cultural exchange.

Following this, on the 19th, participants participated in "Korean Culture Day," a Korean cultural introduction program organized by the international exchange supporters "You, Me, and Us," which held its inaugural ceremony on the 11th. They experienced diverse aspects of Korean culture, including traditional games and hanbok (traditional Korean clothing).

Won Hee-bok, CEO of the Paju Youth Foundation, said, “I am very happy that Mongolian youth will visit Paju again this year, following last year, as interest in Korean culture grows.” He added, “I hope that this exchange will be an opportunity for more foreign youth to visit Paju and build friendships with the youth of Paju.”
