(재)파주시청소년상담복지센터는 지난 17일 파주시청소년수련관 3층 중강의실에서 ‘청소년동반자 우수사례보고회 및 사업평가회’를 열었다.

이번 행사에서는 상반기 사업실적 보고와 우수사례 발표, 공동체 활동 등이 진행됐다. 

센터가 운영하는 청소년동반자 프로그램은 올해 1월부터 8월까지 개인·전화 상담, 심리검사 등 약 1만1,677건의 맞춤형 상담·지원 서비스를 제공하며 파주시 청소년들에게 폭넓은 지원을 이어왔다.

청소년동반자 프로그램은 전문 상담사가 위기(가능) 청소년을 직접 찾아가 심리·정서적 지지를 제공하고, 지역사회 자원을 연계해 건강한 성장을 돕는 것이 특징이다. 

센터는 이번 평가회를 통해 현장의 의견을 수렴하고 보다 효율적인 운영 방안을 모색해 청소년들의 안정적 성장과 자립을 지속적으로 지원할 계획이다.

장문희 센터장은 “복합적 위기 상황에 놓인 아동·청소년을 직접 찾아가 즉각적이고 다각적인 상담 서비스를 제공하는 동반자 선생님들의 정성과 열정이야말로 우리 아이들에게 미래 사회를 이끌 힘을 심어주는 귀한 역할”이라고 강조했다.

원희복 (재)파주시청소년재단 대표이사도 “파주시 내 위기청소년을 위해 헌신하는 청소년동반자들의 노고에 깊이 감사드리며, 청소년의 건강과 자립을 위해 다각적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Paju City Youth Counseling and Welfare Center held a "Youth Companion Best Practice Report and Project Evaluation Meeting" on the 17th in the middle lecture room on the 3rd floor of the Paju City Youth Training Center.

The event included a report on the first half of the year's project performance, presentations of best practices, and community activities.

The Youth Companion Program, operated by the Center, has provided comprehensive support to youth in Paju City from January to August of this year, providing approximately 11,677 customized counseling and support services, including individual and telephone counseling and psychological assessments.

The Youth Companion Program features professional counselors visiting at-risk (or potentially at-risk) youth to provide psychological and emotional support and connect them with community resources to foster healthy growth.

Director Jang Moon-hee emphasized, "The dedication and passion of the companion teachers, who directly visit children and adolescents in complex crisis situations and provide immediate, multifaceted counseling services, play a valuable role in instilling in our children the strength to lead future society."
