(재)파주시청소년재단 파주시청소년지원센터는 9월 1일 오후 2시 센터에서 학교 밖 청소년을 위한 대학입시 설명회를 개최했다.

이번 설명회는 ICT폴리텍대학, 서영대학교, 두원공과대학교 등 3개 대학과 협력해 진행됐다. 

학교 밖 청소년들에게 다양한 진학 기회를 소개하고 청소년과 보호자를 대상으로 1대1 맞춤형 입시 정보를 제공했다.

행사는 청소년들이 대학 진학 과정에서 겪는 정보 부족과 진로 선택의 어려움을 해소하기 위해 마련됐다. 

대학 입학처 관계자가 직접 참석해 전형 안내, 지원 자격과 절차, 학과 소개, 장학 제도 등을 상세히 설명했으며 이어 참가 청소년들은 질의응답 시간을 통해 궁금증을 해소하는 기회를 가졌다.

(재)파주시청소년재단 원희복 대표이사는 “학교 밖 청소년들에게도 대학 진학의 문은 열려 있다”며 “이번 설명회가 자신의 진로를 구체적으로 설계하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했으며 이어 “앞으로도 청소년들의 학업과 진로 지원을 위해 지역 대학 및 유관기관과 협력을 강화해 나가겠다”고 강조했다.

The Paju Youth Support Center, a foundation for the Paju Youth Foundation, held a university entrance information session for out-of-school youth at 2:00 PM on September 1st.

This session was held in collaboration with three universities: ICT Polytechnic University, Seoyoung University, and Doowon Technical College.

The session introduced various college admission opportunities to out-of-school youth and provided one-on-one, customized admission information to youth and their guardians.

The event was designed to address the lack of information and career paths faced by youth during the college admissions process.

University admissions officials were present and provided detailed information on admissions processes, application qualifications and procedures, departmental introductions, and scholarship programs. Participants then had the opportunity to address their questions during a Q&A session.

Won Hee-bok, CEO of the Paju City Youth Foundation, said, “The door to college is open to out-of-school youth as well,” and added, “I hope this information session will be an opportunity to specifically design one’s own career path.” He continued, “We will continue to strengthen cooperation with local universities and related organizations to support youth’s studies and career paths.”
