경기도파주교육지원청이 다자녀 가정의 경제적 부담을 줄이고 유치원비 안정화를 도모하기 위해 2024년에 이어 2025년에도 유치원 원비 감면 정책을 확대 시행한다.

이번 조치는 교육청과 유치원이 함께 논의하고 협력한 결과로, 학부모 부담을 실질적으로 줄이기 위한 자발적인 노력의 일환이다.

교육청은 유치원 관계자들과 협의회를 통해 유치원비 인상 억제를  위한 협조를 요청하고, 다자녀 가정을 위한 원비 감면 확대 방안을 적극 검토해 줄 것을 제안했다. 

이에 따라 여러 유치원이 취지에 공감하고 참여를 결정하면서 원비 감면 대상 유치원이 확대되었으며, 감면 금액도 기존보다 더욱 다양하게 조정되었다.

유치원별 감면 방식은 차등 적용되며, 일부 유치원은 자녀 수에 따라 원아별 1만 원에서 최대 6만 원까지 감면하고, 형제·자매가 함께 다닐 경우 추가 감면 혜택을 제공하는 등 다양한 지원책을 도입했다.

방과후 과정 비용 감면을 적용하는 유치원도 있어 학부모 부담이 더욱 완화될 것으로 기대된다.
