고양특례시는 지난 10일, (주)포유디지탈 최우식 대표이사로부터 지역 아동들을 위한 노트북 PC 20세트(터치형 노트북PC, 전용파우치, 터치펜)를 전달받았다고 밝혔다.

이날 전달식에는 이동환 고양특례시장을 비롯해 ㈜포유디지탈 최우식 대표이사, 한광순 고양시사회복지협의회 부회장 등 9명이 함께 했다.

㈜포유디지탈은 탄소중립 실천에 앞장서는 고양시의 기술혁신형 중소기업으로 국내 초·중·고등학교에서 교육용으로 사용 중인 태블릿PC 아이뮤즈를 제작·공급하는 기업이다.

최우식 대표이사는 “디지털 교육이 필수적인 시대에 IT 접근성이 부족한 아동들에게 도움이 되고 싶었다”며 “이번 기부를 통해 아이들이 보다 나은 학습 환경에서 성장할 수 있기를 바란다”고 전했다.

이동환 고양특례시장은 “사회공헌 활동을 통해 지역 사회와의 상생을 도모하고, IT 기술을 통한 긍정적인 변화를 이끌어내는 ㈜포유디지탈의 나눔 문화 확산 실천에 감사드린다”고 화답했다.

이날 기탁받은 물품은 고양시사회복지협의회를 통해 고양시의 지역아동센터로 전달될 예정이다.
