경기도 북부시·군의장협의회(회장, 고양시의회의장 김운남)는 2월 4일 의정부시의회 의원회의실에서 제115차 정례회의를 개최했다.

이날 회의에서는 김운남 협의회장을 비롯해 개최지 김연균 의정부시의회 의장 등 경기북부 8개 시·군 의장이 참석했다.

이번 제115차 정례회의에서는 제114차 정례회의에 상정된 안건에 대한 처리결과 등을 보고 받은 후, 2개의 안건을 심의했다.

이날 김운남 회장은 “2025년 처음으로 개최되는 이번 정례회의가 경기도 북부권 발전의 새로운 이정표가 되기를 바란다”며, “협의회를 통해 경기도 북부권의 다양한 현안에 대해 논의하고, 북부권 발전을 위한 여러 방안을 모색하며 함께 헤쳐 나갈 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 경기도 북부시·군의장협의회는 경기북부지역의 발전방향을 공동으로 모색하고자 설립된 의장협의회로, 9개 시·군의회 의장(고양, 파주, 의정부, 양주, 구리, 포천, 동두천, 가평, 연천)들로 구성되어 있다.[고양=박정호 기자]
