고양특례시는 도심항공교통(UAM) 산업의 발전과 지역 내 도입 가능성을 모색하기 위해 지난 31일‘UAM 산업 육성 방안 연구용역’ 중간보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

수도권 내 지리적 이점을 활용해 도심항공교통(UAM) 산업을 선도할 수 있는 최적의 입지를 갖추고 있는 고양시는 연구용역을 통해 실효성 있는 추진 전략을 마련한다는 방침이다.

이번 보고회는 도심항공교통(UAM) 산업의 최신 동향을 공유하고, 고양시의 산업 육성 전략을 구체화하기 위해 마련됐다.

회의에는 고양특례시 관계자를 비롯해 항공·교통·도시계획 전문가, 관련 기업, 연구기관 등이 참석해 다양한 의견을 나눴다.
