한국농어촌공사 고양지사는 18일 농업용수 운영현황과 다가올 수자원의 환경변화 등을 공유하기 위해 “2024년도 물관리 현장 설명회”를 개최했다.

이날 행사는 금년도 공사 업무에 대한 이해를 높이고 지역민과의 소통의 장을 마련하기 위한 자리로써 △ 공사 주요사업 현황 보고, △ 물 절약 홍보 동영상 상영, △ 용수관리체계 설명 및 수질개선 방안 협의 등의 순서로 진행되었으며 특히 금년 물관리 현장 설명회는 기후변화로 인한 재해 증가와 수자원 정책변화에 따른 농업용수의 역할에 대한 이해도를 제고하고, 공사와 이해관계자 간 소통으로 공사 물관리 현안에 대한 공감대 및 상생협력 기반을 구축하기 위해 마련됐다.

임선민 지사장은 “농업용수 관리에도 첫째도 안전, 둘째도 안전이라는 마음으로 물관리는 물론이고 급변하는 기후에 대비 선제적 대응으로 안전영농이 가능하도록 최선을 다할 것.”이라고 소감을 밝혔다.[고양=박정호 기자]
