한국농어촌공사 고양지사(지사장 김광석)가 6. 7일 농촌 일손부족으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 고양시 덕양구 토당동 농가인 도모씨 농지에서 농촌일손돕기 사회공헌활동을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날, 고양지사 직원 10여명은 해당 농가의 1,000여평의 밭에서 마늘 수확을 도왔으며, 일손돕기 지원을 받은 농가는 요즘 농촌 일손 구하기가 어려운 상황인데 고양지사 직원들의 일손 지원은 가뭄의 단비처럼 일손부족 해소에 많은 도움이 되었다고 말했다.

한편, 김광석 지사장은 “앞으로도 고양지사는 농촌 인력부족으로 어려움을 겪는 농가에 대한 농촌일손돕기를 지속적으로 실시하고, 행복한 진짓상 배달과 아름다운 농촌만들기 등 다양한 사회공헌활동을 통해 공기업으로서 사회적 책임과 ESG(환경.사회,지배구조)경영 실천에 최선을 다해 나갈 것”이라고 말했다.
