손배찬 파주시장이 최근 일각에서 제기된 성매매집결지 폐쇄 정책 후퇴 우려를 정면으로 반박하며, 성매매 근절과 집결지 완전 해체 의지를 재차 강조했다.

손 시장은 취임 일주일을 맞아 진행된 시정 업무보고에서 “대추벌 성매매 근절이라는 목표는 추호의 흔들림도 없는 불변의 원칙”이라며 “역대 어느 시장보다도 엄격하고 철저하게 법을 적용해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
