재선에 도전하는 국민의힘 김완규 경기도의원 후보(고양시 제12선거구·가좌·덕이·송포동)가 6·3 지방선거를 이틀 앞둔 1일 아침, 고양시 탄현역에서 오체투지 출근길 인사를 진행하며 유권자들에게 낮은 자세로 지지를 호소했다.

김 후보는 이날 오전 출근 시간대 약 2시간 동안 탄현역 역사 내 통로에 마련된 공간에서 무릎을 꿇고 이마를 바닥에 대는 오체투지를 반복하며 시민들에게 인사했다.

별도의 확성기나 마이크 없이 진행된 이날 인사에서는 운동화와 생수만 곁에 둔 채 오체투지와 큰절을 이어가며 지나가는 시민들에게 감사와 지지를 호소하는 모습이 눈길을 끌었다.

특히 김 후보는 오체투지 자세에서 두 손바닥을 위로 향해 펼치는 모습을 보였다.
