고양특례시가 산하기관 운영의 투명성과 공정성을 강화하기 위해 고양국제박람회재단에 대한 정기 종합감사에 착수한다.

고양시는 ‘2026년 고양시 자체감사 기본계획’에 따라 오는 6월 15일부터 26일까지 12일간 고양국제박람회재단을 대상으로 정기 종합감사를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 감사는 재단 운영 전반에 대한 실태를 면밀히 점검하는 방식으로 진행된다. 

시는 예산과 회계, 인사 및 복무, 민원 처리 등 기관 운영의 핵심 분야를 중심으로 위법·부당 행위 여부와 제도 운영의 적정성을 집중 점검할 방침이다.

우선 예산·회계 분야에서는 주요 사업의 예산 집행 과정과 재정 운영의 적정성, 회계 처리 실태 등을 들여다본다. 

인사·복무 분야에서는 임직원 채용 절차의 공정성과 복무 관리 체계 등 인사 운영 전반을 확인할 계획이다. 

또한 기관과 관련해 제기된 주요 민원에 대해서도 처리 과정과 결과의 적정성을 함께 점검한다.

특히 시는 감사의 실효성을 높이고 시민 의견을 적극 반영하기 위해 5월 29일부터 6월 12일까지 ‘시민과 함께하는 공개 감사’ 기간도 운영한다.

시민들은 고양국제박람회재단과 관련한 불합리한 규제나 제도 개선 사항, 위법·부당한 행정 사례 등에 대해 자유롭게 제보할 수 있다. 

제보는 전화와 팩스, 이메일은 물론 고양시청 누리집 내 ‘민원신고센터-공직자부조리’ 게시판을 통해 접수 가능하다.

다만 가명 또는 무기명 제보, 현재 수사나 재판이 진행 중인 사항, 개인 간 권리관계나 사생활 침해 우려가 있는 내용 등은 접수 대상에서 제외된다.

고양시 관계자는 “이번 정기 종합감사를 통해 고양국제박람회재단의 업무 전반을 철저히 점검할 예정”이라며 “운영의 투명성과 공정성을 강화해 시민에게 더욱 신뢰받는 기관으로 거듭날 수 있도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
