고양특례시가 지역 경제의 정확한 현황을 파악하고 미래 맞춤형 경제 정책 수립의 기초자료를 마련하기 위해 대규모 경제총조사에 착수한다.

고양시는 오는 6월 1일부터 7월 22일까지 관내 사업체를 대상으로 ‘2025년 기준 경제총조사’를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 조사는 2025년 12월 31일 기준 고양시에서 산업활동을 영위하고 있는 약 5만 6천여 개 사업체를 대상으로 진행된다. 

시는 이번 조사를 통해 확보한 데이터를 바탕으로 지역 경제 구조와 사업체 운영 실태를 면밀히 분석하고, 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 실효성 높은 경제 정책 수립에 활용할 방침이다.

특히 조사 결과는 소상공인 맞춤형 지원 정책 마련과 지역 특화 일자리 창출, 지역경제 활성화 및 중장기 발전계획 수립 등 정부와 지자체의 핵심 경제 정책 추진에 중요한 기초자료로 활용될 예정이다.

조사 항목은 사업체의 경영 현황을 종합적으로 파악할 수 있도록 구성됐다. 

사업체명과 종사자 수, 매출액, 영업비용 등 모든 사업체에 공통 적용되는 12개 항목과 업종별 특성을 반영한 26개 특성 항목을 포함해 사업체 운영 실태를 세부적으로 조사한다.

시는 사업체의 참여 편의를 높이기 위해 대면과 비대면 방식을 병행해 조사를 진행한다. 

조사원이 직접 사업체를 방문하는 현장 면접조사를 기본으로 하되, 바쁜 일정으로 대면 응답이 어려운 사업체를 위해 온라인과 이메일, 팩스를 활용한 스마트조사도 함께 운영한다.

비대면 스마트조사는 6월 1일부터 6월 30일까지 한 달간 진행되며, 경제총조사 누리집과 모바일, 이메일, 팩스 등을 통해 참여할 수 있다. 

이후 7월 1일부터 7월 22일까지는 현장 면접조사 방식으로 조사가 이어진다.
