한국공인탐정협회(PIA)가 ‘PIA 최고위과정 제82기 원우회’를 대상으로 진행한 워크숍을 성공적으로 마무리하며 전문 탐정 인력 양성의 성과를 다시 한 번 확인했다.

이번 워크숍은 단순한 이론 교육을 넘어 실제 탐정업 현장의 생생한 경험과 노하우를 공유하고, 원우 간 긴밀한 네트워크 구축을 통해 실무 역량을 극대화하는 데 초점을 맞춰 기획됐다.

행사는 현장 중심 프로그램으로 시작됐다.

원우들은 국내 주요 탐정법인인 ‘탐정법인 피플스’와 ‘탐정법인 김앤유’를 직접 방문해 실제 운영 시스템과 업무 방식을 체험하며 현장 이해도를 높였다. 

이어진 특강에서는 탐정업계 권위자로 꼽히는 권진용 교수와 백기종 교수가 강연에 나서 급변하는 치안 환경 속 탐정업의 방향성과 실무 적용이 가능한 전략을 제시했다. 

이와 함께 원우회 회칙 제정과 졸업여행 등 향후 활동 계획을 논의하는 시간도 마련돼 자율적 조직 운영 기반을 다졌다.

2부 공식 행사는 가수 선우영아의 축하 공연으로 분위기를 띄운 가운데, 정중용 82기 원우회장의 개회사로 본격 시작됐다. 

정 회장은 “이번 워크숍이 원우들이 전문 탐정으로서 한 단계 성장하고 서로 소통하며 상생하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다. 

이어 하금석 한국공인탐정협회 회장의 축사와 권진용 PIA 교수협의회 회장의 격려사가 이어지며 원우들의 사명감과 책임 의식을 고취했다. 

이후 우수 원우 시상과 단체 기념촬영을 끝으로 행사는 성황리에 마무리됐다.

협회 관계자는 “이번 워크숍은 실무 중심 인재 양성이라는 목표를 구체적으로 실현한 자리였다”며 “앞으로도 교육의 질을 지속적으로 향상시켜 대한민국 탐정 산업의 건전한 발전과 제도화에 기여하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이번 과정을 통해 역량을 강화한 제82기 원우들은 향후 각 분야에서 전문 탐정으로 활동하며 협업 체계를 이어가고, 산업 전반의 질적 성장을 이끄는 주체로 자리매김할 것으로 기대된다.

The Korean Private Investigators Association (PIA) has once again confirmed the achievements in training professional detective personnel by successfully concluding a workshop held for the "82nd Executive Course Alumni Association."

This workshop was designed to go beyond simple theoretical education, focusing on sharing vivid experiences and know-how from the actual detective industry and maximizing practical capabilities through the establishment of close networks among alumni.

The event began with field-oriented programs.

Alumni directly visited major domestic detective firms, "Detective Firm Peoples" and "Detective Firm Kim & You," to experience their actual operating systems and work methods, thereby enhancing their understanding of the field. In the subsequent special lectures, Professors Kwon Jin-yong and Baek Ki-jong, considered authorities in the detective industry, delivered presentations on the direction of the detective profession amidst the rapidly changing security environment and strategies applicable to practical work.

In addition, time was set aside to discuss future activity plans, such as the enactment of the Alumni Association's bylaws and the graduation trip, thereby solidifying the foundation for autonomous organizational operation.

The second part of the official ceremony kicked off with an opening address by Jung Joong-yong, President of the 82nd Alumni Association, following a celebratory performance by singer Sunwoo Young-ah that set the mood.

President Jung stated, "I hope this workshop serves as an opportunity for alumni to grow to the next level as professional detectives, communicate with one another, and prosper together."

This was followed by congratulatory remarks from Ha Geum-seok, President of the Korea Association of Licensed Private Investigators, and words of encouragement from Kwon Jin-yong, President of the PIA Professor Council, which inspired a sense of mission and responsibility among the alumni.

The event concluded successfully with the awarding of outstanding alumni prizes and a group commemorative photo session. An official from the association stated, “This workshop was a concrete realization of the goal of fostering practical talent,” adding, “We will continue to improve the quality of education to contribute to the sound development and institutionalization of the detective industry in Korea.”

The members of the 82nd cohort, who have strengthened their capabilities through this course, are expected to establish themselves as key players leading the qualitative growth of the industry as they work as professional detectives in their respective fields, maintain collaborative systems, and drive the overall industry.
