고양시생활개선연합회가 지역사회 나눔과 봉사문화 확산에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 고양시자원봉사센터로부터 우수활동단체로 선정됐다고 12일 밝혔다.

여성농업인 단체인 고양시생활개선연합회는 회원들의 자발적 참여를 바탕으로 꾸준하고 체계적인 자원봉사 활동을 펼쳐왔다. 

특히 독거노인과 취약계층을 위한 반찬 나눔 봉사, 계절별 돌봄 활동, 지역사회 공헌활동 등을 지속적으로 추진하며 지역 공동체의 든든한 이웃 역할을 해온 것으로 평가받고 있다.

연합회는 일회성 행사가 아닌 정기적이고 지속적인 봉사체계를 구축해 안정적인 활동을 이어왔다.
