파주시가 창업 초기 청년들의 경제적 부담을 덜어주기 위해 임차료 지원 사업에 나선다.

파주시는 7일부터 21일까지 '2026년 상반기 청년 창업자 임차료 지원 사업' 참여자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 창업 초기 높은 비용 부담으로 어려움을 겪는 청년 창업자들의 경영 안정화를 돕기 위해 마련됐다. 

창업 초기 고정비용 중 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 임차료 일부를 지원해 청년 창업자들이 안정적으로 사업을 시작할 수 있도록 돕는 것이 목적이다.

공고일 기준 파주시에 주민등록을 두고 관내에 사업장을 운영 중인 만 19세 이상 39세 이하 청년이 대상이다. 

단, 사업자등록 후 1년 이내인 초기 창업자만 신청할 수 있다.

최종 선정된 10명에게는 월 임차료의 50% 범위 내에서 월 최대 50만원까지 6개월간 지원된다. 

최대 300만원을 받을 수 있는 셈이다.

다만 지원의 공정성을 위해 일부 대상은 제외된다. 

현재 취업 중인 자와 임대인으로부터 세금계산서나 현금영수증 등 임차료 증빙서류 발급이 불가능한 경우는 지원 대상에서 제외된다. 

가맹점(프랜차이즈), 대규모 점포, 주류 판매업 등 일부 업종도 지원에서 제외된다.

신청을 희망하는 청년 창업자는 21일 오후 6시까지 파주시 청년청소년과를 직접 방문해 신청서를 작성·제출하거나, 담당자 전자우편을 통해 지원 신청서와 각종 증빙서류를 제출할 수 있다. 

방문 접수의 경우 반드시 본인이 직접 방문해야 한다.

전자우편으로 신청서를 제출할 경우에는 전송 오류 등으로 인한 서류 누락을 방지하기 위해 발송 후 반드시 담당 부서에 유선 전화로 신청 완료 여부를 확인해야 한다.

파주시 관계자는 "이번 임차료 지원 사업이 열정과 아이디어를 가진 청년 창업자들의 성공적인 출발을 지원하는 든든한 발판이 되어줄 것"이라고 말했다.

Paju City announced that it will be recruiting participants for the "2026 First Half Youth Entrepreneur Rent Support Program" from the 7th to the 21st.

Currently employed individuals and those whose landlords are unable to issue rent documentation, such as tax invoices or cash receipts, will be excluded from support.

Certain industries, such as franchises, large-scale stores, and liquor retailers, are also excluded from support.

Young entrepreneurs who wish to apply can visit the Paju City Youth and Youth Division in person to complete and submit the application form by 6:00 PM on the 21st, or submit the application form and supporting documents via email to the person in charge.

In-person applications must be submitted in person.
