한국농어촌공사가 농업인의 경영 부담을 덜어주기 위해 농지임대수탁사업의 위탁수수료를 내년 1월 1일부터 전면 폐지한다.

농지임대수탁사업은 직접 농사를 짓기 어려운 농지 소유자의 땅을 공사가 위탁받아 전업농 등 실제 경작자에게 장기 임대해주는 제도다.

하지만 최근 농자재 가격 상승 등으로 농업경영 여건이 악화됨에 따라 농업인의 소득 보전과 경영 안정을 위해 수수료를 아예 없애기로 결정했다.

이번 조치로 위탁자가 농업인인 경우 농지임대위탁 수수료가 전액 면제된다.

특히 시행일 이후 새로 체결되는 계약은 물론, 현재 계약을 유지 중인 농업인도 2026년 1월 1일 이후 부과되는 수수료부터 면제 혜택을 받을 수 있다.

공사는 오는 1월 중 전국 각 지사를 통해 '2026년 농지은행사업 추진계획'과 '농지임대수탁사업 개편 사항'을 안내하는 설명회를 열어 관련 내용을 현장에 자세히 알릴 계획이다.
