파주연천축협장학재단은 지난 8월 18일 파주시청소년지원센터 꿈드림 소속 청소년 6명에게 장학금을 전달했다. 

이번 장학금은 긍지와 자부심을 바탕으로 지역사회를 이끌어 갈 인재에게 수여된 것으로, 학업과 자립을 준비하는 청소년들에게 실질적인 힘이 될 것으로 기대된다.

장학금을 받은 한 청소년은 “학교를 다니지 않는다고 해서 꿈까지 포기한 것은 아니다며 지역사회의 응원 덕분에 다시 용기를 내게 됐다”고 소감을 전했다.

파주시청소년재단 원희복 대표이사는 “학교 밖 청소년도 충분히 가능성과 잠재력을 지닌 지역사회의 인재들”이라며 “이번 장학금이 그들의 성장과 자립에 중요한 발판이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

파주연천축협장학재단 관계자는 “앞으로도 파주시 청소년들이 당당하게 자신의 길을 걸어가도록 지속적인 관심과 지원을 이어갈 것”이라고 강조했다.
