고양도시관리공사는 고양특례시와 함께 설연휴인 1월 25일부터 1월 30일까지 6일간 고양시 공영주차장을 무료 개방한다고 밝혔다.

개방 주차장은 시·구청, 행주산성, 호수공원, 삼송역 환승 주차장 등 공사에서 운영하는 주차장 57개소와 노상주차장 7개소이다.

다만, 민간위탁 중인 노상 6권역(장항동) 주차장은 1월 28일부터 1월 30일까지 3일간만 무료로 개방할 예정이다.

공사는 市와 함께 매년 설과 추석 연휴에 공영주차장을 무료개방하여 시민과 귀성객에게 주차 편의를 제공하고 있으며, 무료개방 기간에도 주차장 이용 불편을 최소화하기 위해 24시간 통합콜센터는 정상 운영한다.

 무료주차시 차량훼손 및 도난에 대해서는 이용자의 각별한 주의가 필요하며, 지정된 주차면 외 이면주차 및 이중주차는 금지된다.

공사 관계자는 “공영주차장 무료개방이 시민과 소상공인에게 작은 도움이 되고 지역 경제 활성화에 보탬이 되길 바란다며 시민 편의와 안전을 위하여 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
