파주시산림조합(조합장·전진옥)은 산림청 주관 2024년 전국 산림조합 산림경영기술지도 종합평가에서 1위를 수상하여  “18년 연속 최우수기관 수상”과 함께 인센티브 누적 최대 기록을 달성했다고 16일 밝혔다.

전국 142개 산림조합을 대상으로 실시한 평가에서 파주시산림조합은 전문임업인육성, 협단체지원, 자랑스런임업인 발굴, 임산물생산자조직육성, 임야대상경영체등록, 산림소득공모사업, 산림사업종합자금지원, 단기소득임산물재배 임가 및 산주의 산림소득 증대, 민간인 통제선 민북지역 및 국방부소관 국유림 산림경영 컨설팅으로 공간적·규모적·규제적 제한성을 극복했다는 평가를 받았다.

파주산림조합은 산림자원의 조성 및 관리에 관한 법률 제31조에 의거 1978년부터 일선조합에 배치된 산림경영지도원(현재7명)의 지도활동 영역을 확대하여 산림휴양, 치유, 교육, 복지, 유통 등 산림산업의 융복합 6차 산업화를 꾀하고 있다. 

전진옥 조합장은 산림경영전담지도원들의 헌신적인 노력의 결과로 18년 연속 산림경영지도 최우수기관의 영예를 안았다며 현재의 성과에 안주하지 않고 지도사업을 더욱 확대시켜 산주와 임업인의 소득증대 및 지역사회 발전에 기여하도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다.[파주=빅정호 기자]

Paju Forest Cooperative has been expanding the scope of guidance activities of forest management instructors (currently 7) assigned to frontline cooperatives since 1978 in accordance with Article 31 of the Forest Resources Creation and Management Act, and is seeking to transform the forest industry into a 6th industrialization that combines forest recreation, healing, education, welfare, and distribution.
