(재)파주시청소년재단 청소년자유공간 4호점(시설장: 이미희) 2024년 11월 30일, 운정4동 청소년친화상점 아재다방에서 열린 청소년친화상점 발굴사업 현판식이 성공적으로 마무리됐다.

이번 행사는 (재)파주시청소년재단 청소년자유공간 쉼표4호점(모여락)과 운정4동 청소년지도위원회가 공동 주관하고, 마을공동체활동 동아리 파파고 청소년들과 지역 상인(야당마을 상인회)이 참여해 청소년과 지역사회의 상생을 도모하기 위해 마련됐다.

 청소년친화상점 발굴사업은 지역 상권이 청소년들에게 실질적인 혜택을 제공함으로써, 청소년들이 지역사회 안에서 편안함을 느끼고, 청소년 친화적인 문화를 조성하는 데 목적을 두고 있다.

 이날 현판식에서는 (재)파주시청소년재단 손배찬 대표이사와 운정4동 김영기 동장의 축사를 통해 사업의 의미를 강조했다.

이어 파파고 동아리의 청소년 대표가 활동 소감을 발표하고, 청소년친화상점으로 발굴된 선정된 상점 11곳에 청소년친화상점 현판을 부착하는 기념식이 진행됐다.

현판이 부착된 상점들은 앞으로 청소년들에게 할인 혜택과 특별 서비스를 제공하며, 지역사회와 청소년 간의 긍정적인 관계 형성에 기여할 예정이다. 

파파고 동아리의 윤다울 청소년은 “이번 활동을 통해 우리 마을에 대해 더 깊이 이해하고, 청소년들에게 도움이 되는 환경을 직접 발굴 및 선정할 수 있어 뿌듯했다.

 친구들이 청소년친화상점을 이용하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈으면 좋겠다”라고 말했다.

 이번 현판식은 청소년과 지역사회가 함께 만들어가는 따뜻한 마을문화를 확인할 수 있는 자리로, 청소년들이 지역사회의 주체적인 구성원으로 자리 잡고, 청소년 친화적인 환경 조성을 위한 중요한 발판이 됐다는 점에서 큰 의미를 남겼다.[파주=빅정호 기자]
