고양소방서(서장 정귀용)는  '제5회 경기도 북부 의용소방대 강의경연대회'에 참여해 ‘최우수상’ 쾌거를 달성했다.

이번 대회는 ▲심폐소생술 ▲생활안전 등 2개 분야에 경기도 북부지역 11개 소방서의 의용소방대에서 선발된 16개 팀이 출전해 국민의 안전 의식 함양을 위해 노력하는 의용소방대 전문 강사들의 경연으로 진행되었다.

대회 결과 고양소방서는 생활안전 분야에서 어르신 돌봄 여성 전문의용소방대 윤혜령 대원이 최우수상을 받는 영예를 안았다.

또한 윤혜령 대원은 경기 북부를 대표하여 다음 달 25일 충북 단양에서 열리는 전국 의용소방대 강의경연대회에 출전하여 다시 한번 대상에 도전한다.

윤혜령 대원은 “소방서와 의용소방대 동료들의 많은 응원 덕분에 이렇게 큰 상을 받게 돼 감사드린다”며“이번 대회를 계기로 시민들에게 더 나은 소방안전교육을 제공할 수 있는 강사가 되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
