파주시 문산읍은 지난달 28일 문산천변에서 문산노을길 주민협의체와 함께 문산노을길 코스모스 파종행사를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 파주시의회 의장 및 의원, 문산읍 기관·단체장 등 30여 명이 참석한 가운데 코스모스 꽃밭 조성을 위한 씨앗 파종을 완료했다.

지난해 가을철 만개한 코스모스가 주민들에게 큰 호응을 얻어 올해도 문산노을길 주민협의체가 적극적으로 참여해 씨앗 파종을 실시했다.

이한상 문산읍장은 “시민들이 만개한 꽃들 속에서 즐거움을 만끽할 수 있도록 문산노을길 꽃밭 조성사업에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

문산노을길은 문산천변(양안, 약55,700㎡)에 봄에는 유채꽃, 꽃양귀비, 안개초 등의 테마꽃밭을 조성하고, 겨울에는 대형 크리스마스트리 설치 등 계절별 테마공간 조성으로 방문객이 찾는 문산읍 랜드마크 중 하나다.파주=박정호기자.
