파주시는 지난 3일 시청 접견실에서 취약계층의 열악한 주거환경을 개선하기 위한 '2026년 파주형 하우징 주거환경개선사업' 기탁식을 개최하고 민관 협력을 통한 주거복지 지원에 본격 나섰다고 밝혔다.

'파주형 하우징 주거환경개선사업'은 경제적 어려움으로 주거환경이 취약한 시민들이 보다 안전하고 쾌적한 환경에서 생활할 수 있도록 지역사회가 함께 참여하는 주거복지 사업이다.

이번 사업에는 파주지역건축사회와 동문건설, 라인산업, 제일건설, HL디앤아이한라, HDC현대산업개발 등 지역 기관과 건설사 6곳이 참여해 총 3천만 원의 후원금을 기탁했다.

파주시는 기탁금을 활용해 관내 취약계층 30가구를 선정하고 도배와 장판 교체, 개수대 교체 등 각 가정의 주거 여건에 맞춘 맞춤형 환경개선 공사를 추진할 계획이다.

이와 함께 한국에너지재단과의 협력을 통해 단열 및 창호 개선, 냉난방기와 보일러 교체 등 에너지 효율을 높이는 공사도 병행한다. 

이를 통해 취약계층의 냉난방비 부담을 줄이는 것은 물론, 주거 안전성과 에너지 복지 수준도 함께 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다.
