고양특례시가 오는 10월 9일부터 18일까지 행주산성 일원에서 '2026 고양 국가유산 야행-행주가 예술이야'를 개최한다. 

국가유산청 공모사업에 2년 연속 선정된 이번 행사는 고양시를 대표하는 야간 문화유산 축제로, 올해는 콘텐츠를 대폭 확대해 더욱 풍성한 볼거리와 체험 프로그램을 선보인다.

3일 고양특례시에 따르면 올해 축제는 '별빛 아래 행주'를 주제로 매일 오후 6시부터 10시까지 열린다.

행주대첩을 승리로 이끈 2천300명의 영웅을 빛으로 형상화해 가을밤 행주산성의 역사와 아름다움을 감성적으로 표현할 예정이다.

특히 지난해까지 운영했던 5야(夜) 프로그램을 올해는 민·관·학 협력을 바탕으로 7야(夜) 체제로 확대했다. 

야경과 야화, 야로, 야설, 야사, 야시, 야식 등 다양한 주제의 프로그램을 통해 관람과 체험을 동시에 즐길 수 있는 축제로 꾸며진다.

행주산성 곳곳에는 '행주 8색 8야'를 주제로 한 야간 경관 조명이 설치돼 방문객들에게 색다른 포토존을 제공한다.

또한 충의정에는 대형 LED 스크린을 활용한 미디어 전시 '그린 행주별밤'이 처음 공개된다. 

이번 전시는 중부대학교 라이즈(RISE) 사업단과 고양산업진흥원이 공동 제작해 행주산성의 역사와 자연을 현대적인 영상 콘텐츠로 선보일 예정이다.

역사를 직접 체험할 수 있는 프로그램도 다양하게 마련된다. 

'행주 과거길'은 문화관광해설사와 함께 선비길과 장수길을 걸으며 미션을 수행하는 사전 예약제 탐방 프로그램으로, 미션을 완료한 참가자들은 한국항공대학교 학생들과 함께 별자리를 관찰하는 특별한 체험도 할 수 있다.

매주 금요일부터 일요일까지 오후 6시 30분에는 충의정 정상에서 산성 음악회 '행주의 울림'이 열리며, 중부대학교 연극영화학전공 학생들이 행주대첩의 주요 인물을 재현하는 참여형 공연 '그날 밤, 행주에서'도 진행돼 역사 속 인물들과 소통하는 색다른 경험을 제공한다.

지역 상권과 연계한 프로그램도 눈길을 끈다. 

'행주 행화길'은 행주산성 인근 음식점과 카페 이용객에게 할인 혜택을 제공해 지역경제 활성화를 도모하며, 새롭게 선보이는 '행주 런케이션'에서는 행주대첩과 연계한 먹거리와 전통문화 체험을 함께 즐길 수 있다. 

이 프로그램은 매주 토요일 오후 5시부터 9시까지 운영되며, 10일에는 한국항공대학교 외국인 유학생을 대상으로, 17일에는 일반 시민을 대상으로 사전 신청을 받아 진행된다.
