고양특례시가 시민 참여를 확대하고 시정 운영의 투명성과 신뢰도를 높이기 위해 ‘제8기 시민감사관’을 공개 모집한다.

시는 오는 7월 29일부터 8월 12일까지 시민감사관 지원 신청을 접수하고, 전문성과 시민의식을 갖춘 시민 20명을 선발할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

시민감사관은 시민들의 생활 속 불편 사항과 행정 과정에서 발생하는 불만 사항을 비롯해 공무원의 비위, 위법·부당한 행정행위 등을 제보하는 역할을 수행한다. 

또한 불합리한 제도 개선과 시정 발전을 위한 다양한 의견을 제시하며 시민의 목소리를 행정에 반영하는 가교 역할을 맡는다.

특히 구청과 직속기관, 사업소, 고양시 산하 공공기관 등을 대상으로 진행되는 종합감사와 특정감사에도 직접 참여해 각 분야의 전문 지식과 시민의 관점에서 개선 의견을 제시할 예정이다.

현재 고양시에서는 제7기 시민감사관 20명이 활동하고 있으며, 이번에 위촉되는 제8기 시민감사관의 임기는 2026년 9월 1일부터 2028년 8월 31일까지 2년간이다.

모집 인원은 총 20명으로 전문 분야 15명과 일반 분야 5명이다. 

전문 분야는 시설, 도시계획, 환경, 보건, 세무, 회계, 사회복지, 정보통신 등 다양한 분야의 전문가를 대상으로 한다.

지원 자격은 공고일 기준 고양시에 2년 이상 주민등록이 되어 있는 사람이며, 전문 분야 지원자의 경우 고양시 소재 사업장에 근무하는 경우 주소지 요건의 예외가 적용될 수 있다.

또한 학위, 관련 자격증 보유, 실무 경력 등 조례에서 정한 기준 중 하나 이상을 충족해야 하며, 청렴성과 부패 척결에 대한 사명감을 갖춘 시민이면 지원할 수 있다.

신청을 희망하는 시민은 고양시청 누리집 공고 게시판에 게시된 ‘제8기 고양시 시민감사관 공개모집 공고’에서 지원서 서식을 내려받아 작성한 뒤 제출하면 된다.
