고양특례시가 시민들의 안전과 생활 편의를 높이기 위해 추진한 주소정보시설 일제조사를 마무리하고 훼손 시설에 대한 정비에 나선다.

고양특례시는 올해 3월부터 7월까지 관내 주소정보시설 6만7,407개소를 대상으로 실시한 '주소정보시설 일제조사'를 완료했다고 29일 밝혔다.

주소정보시설은 건물번호판과 도로명판, 기초번호판, 사물주소판 등을 통해 시민들의 길 찾기를 지원하는 것은 물론 화재와 응급상황 등 재난 발생 시 정확한 위치를 신속하게 파악할 수 있도록 돕는 생활안전 기반시설이다.

이번 조사는 스마트 주소정보시스템(KAIS)을 활용해 현장에서 시설물을 촬영하고 조사 결과를 실시간으로 입력하는 방식으로 진행됐다. 

이를 통해 기존 조사 방식보다 정확성과 업무 효율성을 높였다는 것이 시의 설명이다.

조사 대상은 건물번호판 5만308개, 도로명판 1만675개, 기초번호판 3,227개, 사물주소판 2,958개, 국가지점번호판 230개, 주소정보안내판 9개 등 총 6만7,407개 시설이다. 

시는 시설물의 망실과 훼손 여부를 비롯해 표기 적정성, 설치 위치의 정확성, 시인성 확보 상태 등을 중점적으로 점검했다.

조사 결과 전체 시설 가운데 4,602개소에서 망실 또는 훼손이 확인됐다.

고양시는 도시개발사업 편입이나 건물 철거 등으로 철거가 필요한 시설을 제외한 나머지 시설에 대해서는 올해 연말까지 보수와 정비를 완료할 계획이다.
